WHO WE ARE

Granger United Methodist Church

Granger United Methodist Church is an historic church which has faithfully served the community in Granger Township for over 200 years. We are committed to answering Christ's call to preach the Gospel and baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit in our community. We are dedicated to the mission of the United Methodist Church to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed.

What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him,

for we will see him as he is.

1 John 3:2

God calls us to Love one another.

God calls Granger UMC to:

  •  Live a life devoted to Jesus Christ, the head of the Church.
  •  Love God, neighbor and self.
  • Offer acceptance of all people after the example of Jesus Christ.
  •  Prayerfully seek God’s will and lift the world into God’s care.
  •  Trust in the Holy Spirit and those God raises up in the congregation to lead.
  •  Create an oasis of Peace in a chaotic world.

By the Grace of God...

By the grace of God, we will live into this calling.

Though the times are swirling with uncertainty, of this we are certain; God’s Will shall be revealed to those who are seeking to walk the Way of Christ. We invite you to walk with us as we follow Jesus Christ.
